Lucy Oakman
This is how I imagine Lucy to look like. In terms of celebrities, I would choose Anna Sophia Robb to play her in a movie. The blonde hair and light skin and sky blue eyes fit perfectly. Lucy is a haunted girl with wisdom beyond her years. She's serious but has some biting sarcasm and self-depracating humor now and then
She's seen a lot of suffering in her young years and it's given her perspective most teenagers don't have. She's insightful and introspective and an amazing artist. But her serious mental illness holds her back, though she's learning how to compensate.

The Big Bad Wolf with the charming smile, musician Peter Wentz looks a lot like how I picture Julian. Julian is fascinated by Lucy. When all other patients laugh behind her back or are just plain afraid of her, he goes out of his way to befriend her. He sees what's underneath the pills and the symptoms of her illness.
Langishing in the foster care system has given him control issues which came to a head when he joined the wrestling team. He ended up in the same psychiatric facility as Lucy with an eating disorder. He's the only person who can draw Lucy away from fading away and give her hope to keep fighting.
